Shelly is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the Texas State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners. She obtained her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2013 from Kettering College in Dayton, Ohio. She is originally from Tennessee however, spent a large portion her Physician Assistant career in Phoenix, AZ and moved to Dallas in 2023. She has prior experience in Pain Management and Palliative Care, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as Family Practice. Shelly is experienced in trigger point injections and joint injections. She enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them improve their quality of life by alleviating spine pain and improving function.
